Hello

Welcome to your weekend action plan! This week, we're exploring a topic that can be a major source of stress, but also a tremendous opportunity for financial empowerment: debt. We believe that with a clear plan, you can take control of your debt and transform it into a story of triumph.

That's why we're so excited to introduce the "7-Day Debt Paydown Challenge"! Your mission is to create a clear, actionable plan to start paying down your debt. It's a powerful step toward financial freedom.

Why You Need a Debt Paydown Plan

Living with debt can feel like running a race with weights on your ankles. A debt paydown plan is your strategy for cutting those weights loose. It's a roadmap that shows you exactly how to get from where you are to being debt-free. We think of it as one of the most empowering financial moves you can make.

Last Time the Market Was This Expensive, Investors Waited 14 Years to Break Even

In 1999, the S&P 500 peaked. Then it took 14 years to gradually recover by 2013.

Today? Goldman Sachs sounds crazy forecasting 3% returns for 2024 to 2034.

But we’re currently seeing the highest price for the S&P 500 compared to earnings since the dot-com boom.

So, maybe that’s why they’re not alone; Vanguard projects about 5%.

In fact, now just about everything seems priced near all time highs. Equities, gold, crypto, etc.

But billionaires have long diversified a slice of their portfolios with one asset class that is poised to rebound.

It’s post war and contemporary art.

Sounds crazy, but over 70,000 investors have followed suit since 2019—with Masterworks.

You can invest in shares of artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.

24 exits later, results speak for themselves: net annualized returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8%.*

Here are a few reasons why this challenge is a game-changer:

  • It Creates Clarity and Reduces Stress: Knowing exactly what you owe and having a plan to tackle it can lift a huge mental burden. We believe clarity is the foundation of confidence.

  • It Saves You Money: The longer you carry debt, the more you pay in interest. A focused plan helps you pay it off faster, saving you a significant amount of money in the long run.

  • It Frees Up Your Future Income: Every dollar you're paying toward debt today is a dollar you can't invest in your future. Once the debt is gone, that money is yours to save, invest, and build the life you want.

Your Challenge: Create Your Debt Paydown Plan

Your mission this week is to create your own personalized debt paydown plan. Don't worry about it being perfect; the goal is to establish a starting point. We've broken it down into simple, manageable steps that you can absolutely tackle!

  1. List All Your Debts: Write down every debt you have, including the total balance, interest rate, and minimum monthly payment. This includes credit cards, student loans, car loans, and personal loans.

  2. Choose Your Strategy: There are two popular methods. The "Debt Snowball" involves paying off the smallest debts first to build momentum. The "Debt Avalanche" focuses on paying off the highest-interest debts first to save the most money. We believe both are effective—the best one is the one you'll stick with.

  3. Create Your Plan: Decide how much extra you can put toward your debt each month, even if it's a small amount. Once you've chosen your strategy (snowball or avalanche), direct all your extra payments to that one target debt while making minimum payments on the others.
